Jorge Masvidal Described As A "Sh*t Journeyman" And Challenged To A Street Fight By UFC Rival

Leon Edwards has branded Jorge Masvidal a "sh*t journeyman" and challenged the UFC megastar to a street fight.

Edwards and Masvidal have traded shots on social media for several months now following their intense altercation at UFC London last year.

And the Englishman continued to stoke his rivalry with Masvidal by launching a fierce Twitter tirade on Sunday.

The No.3 ranked UFC welterweight posted a series of tweets aimed at the Miami fighter.

"I'm ranked above and heading for my 9th win in a row so you know it gets you closer to the title beating me. But keep hiding behind the 'it does nothing for us' excuse you and your whole bitch made team keep using cus you know ill f**k you up," he wrote accompanied with a video of Masvidal dismissing Edwards as a potential opponent following UFC 251.

He continued: "Has everyone realised the whole street jesus hard man sh*t was all just marketing yet? and @GamebredFighter is actually a sh*t journeyman? or people still think hes good?"

The Birmingham man then took a shot at Gilbert Burns: "Im on a no cap sunday vibe. just all facts. the most avoided welterweight there is. PS while im at it @GilbertDurinho is a bitch too. God bless all these p**sies."

Edwards added: "F**k it Jorge lets fight, no money, mutual location, film it, bang it on YouTube, public will see your a p**sy #letsgetit."

Masvidal last fought in July when he lost a lopsided decision to UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

As for Edwards, the 28-year-old was supposed to face Tyron Woodley in March before the coronavirus pandemic scrapped the bout.

He's on an eight-fight winning streak which includes victories over Donald Cerrone, Gunnar Nelson and Rafael dos Anjos.
