Jon Jones has told the UFC to "send the deal" regarding a heavyweight super-fight with Francis Ngannou.

The UFC light-heavyweight champion reaffirmed his interest in facing the UFC heavyweight contender with long-time rival Daniel Cormier praising his call out.

Jones took to social media to encourage the UFC to send him a deal. On Twitter, he wrote: "Send The Deal."

The message is in response to Dana White saying that he didn't think Jones and Ngannou actually wanted to fight each other.

Cormier, who's set to face UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic next, described Jones' call out as "gangster."

"First off, I am quick to insult Jones. I will insult Jones on any day of the week. But, I will also give him credit where credit is due. I believe this Francis Ngannou thing is one of the most gangster things in the world!" He told Ariel Helwani.

"I don't get when people say me or Jon Jones that we are afraid of someone. It is the most insane thing in the world! We are not afraid of anything. I think this Jones thing is cool. He's like, 'Okay, you want to fight" Let's do it!'. That is what any... [true fighter] would do. Hats off to Jones!"

Jones then tweeted a message in reply to Cormier's comments.

"Some of you have been waiting to see me lose for over a decade, now finally you stick me in there with a giant with your mouthwatering. Maybe you'll see what you've been waiting for for years, maybe you won't. The question is how much are you willing to pay to see it?" He wrote on Twitter.

Jones last fought at UFC 247 when he narrowly beat Dominick Reyes. Ngannou, on the other hand, is fresh off destroying Jairzinho Rozenstruik in 20 seconds at UFC 249.
