Jake Paul ripped into Conor McGregor once again and called out his current sparring partner in the build-up to UFC 257.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has been trying to goad 'The Notorious' into fighting him, without success. His latest method is to tear into Irish professional boxer, Dylan Moran, who McGregor has lauded for giving him excellent sparring.

An Instagram video shared by Paul saw him take shots at McGregor, then highlight the praise the MMA superstar has heaped on Moran as a "phenomenally exciting" talent.

"Conor's taking easy fights," began Jake Paul, dismissing McGregor's rematch with Dustin Poirier inside the Octagon. "But he's been sparring in Ireland!

"He's been boxing, going against some phenomenal, exciting Irish talent," adds Paul, dripping with sarcasm.

"This kid must be really good, because Conor's a 'good boxer' right? And then we looked this kid up!

"Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you: the big, bad, exciting Irish talent - Dylan Moran, the kid that Conor McGregor is sparring against. Take a look!"

The video then cuts to Moran being battered around the boxing ring by Dennis Okoth in 2019: his lone professional loss in his 16 pro fights (15-1).

However the Irish boxer has already announced that if either Jake Paul - or his brother Logan - show up to UFC 257, he will knock them out personally.

"I have seen the video and personally I find it very disrespectful," said Moran in an interview on Twitter, referring to Jake's early callout video in which he called McGregor an Irish c**t and insulted his finance.

"if he or Logan shows up I will sleep those boys. They need to be taught some manners," added Moran.

Fight fans are naturally starting to see Jake Paul vs Dylan Moran as the next step in 'The Problem Child's boxing career.

Jake Paul is officially 2-0 in professional boxing, but his two KO victories have come against a fellow social media personality and a retired NBA player.

If the 23-year-old fights a seasoned boxing prospect like Moran, it would be a huge step up for him. If perhaps not quite as big as the one his brother Logan is taking when he faces Floyd Mayweather in a February exhibition.

Will Jake Paul fight McGregor's protege as pathway to getting into the boxing ring with Conor for the "$50 million" showdown he dreams about?
