Conor McGregor hit out at Dana White when the UFC boss said Khabib Nurmagomedov "is the man now" following his victory over Dustin Poirier.
White praised Nurmagomedov after he submitted Poirier at UFC 242 to defend his UFC lightweight title in Abu Dhabi last September.

"Khabib is the man now," the UFC president said. "Conor isn't the man anymore, so Khabib gets to sit back and call the shots."
McGregor, who hadn't fought since his devastating defeat to Nurmagomedov at the time of the tweet, reacted angrily to White's comment.
"Who's not the man? Your man had that marquee event did he? More like an event in a marquee. A tent in the f**king sand it was. Keep spoofing to your self horse. Jock strap sniffer championships," he wrote on Twitter.
Nurmagomedov fired back which prompted a fiery exchange.

The Russian replied: "This is a fiasco wino" to which McGregor said: "See you in Moscow, p**sy."
Nurmagomedov then wrote: "In Moscow, rapists are not expected."
Of course, the Irishman made a triumphant comeback to the Octagon when he destroyed Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds at UFC 246 in January.

But after growing frustrated with the lack of opportunities in the UFC, McGregor abruptly walked away from the sport.
"Hey guys I've decided to retire from fighting," he wrote in a statement on social media. "Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it's been! Here is a picture of myself and my mother in Las Vegas post one of my World title wins! Pick the home of your dreams Mags I love you! Whatever you desire it's yours."
