Henry Cejudo Responds To Zhang's "Sex Change" Comments

Henry Cejudo has ordered Weili Zhang to "bend the knee to Triple C" in response to her sex change comments following her spectacular win at UFC Shenzhen.

Zhang won the UFC women's strawweight title over the weekend and in her post-fight press conference, she was asked about a potential bout with the current UFC flyweight and bantamweight king.

The Chinese fighter claimed she'd fight the male champion if he underwent a sex change operation to which he replied by saying:

"Oh so you're a comedian now too, Weili? Well just let me know when you are ready for some real competition and you too can bend the knee to Triple C! #intergenderchamp," the Olympic gold medalist posted on social media in response to Zhang.

Zhang jokingly said she was prepared to fight Cejudo. Speaking after her victory over Jessica Andrade, she said:

"Yes, he can fight with me. But first, he need to go to Thailand and become, well... get a sex change. Then, I will welcome him or her to the female division."

This fight obviously isn't going to happen, and it's not the first time Cejudo has called out a women UFC champion.

Meanwhile, Zhang (20-1) is tipped to become a global star with UFC president Dana White showering her with high praise.

"Weili told me tonight that she wants to fight as much as possible, which I love. And I can tell you this going into this fight with Jessica Andrade, nobody wanted to fight Weili Zhang. Nobody wanted to fight her," he said.

"Now she's the champion, so if you want a shot at that belt, you have to fight her.

"She looked like a world champion tonight. She looked like one of the most vicious women on planet Earth tonight. She looked incredible

"Zhang's performance was so good and so big, people were watching this fight in Canada, the United States, Brazil, the Middle East. Weili Zhang became a huge star tonight globally, not just here in China.

"And obviously, the first-ever Chinese world champion. She's still very fresh and young in her career, we'll see what is in store for her, but she's off to a good start."
