Former UFC champion Benson Henderson has slammed the promotion's "made up" BMF title which Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will fight for at UFC 244.
UFC's inaugural 'baddest motherf***er' title will be on the line when Masvidal and Diaz meet in New York, but Henderson's not a fan of the belt.

He fought Diaz back in 2012 for the UFC lightweight title and the Stockton slugger will compete in his second UFC championship bout in the form of a new title.
Henderson, who defeated Diaz at UFC on FOX 5, has called the 'BMF' strap "hilarious".
"They can put the millions of dollars behind promotion, that's their job, what they are supposed to do," he said. "They are a promotion company so their job is to promote things and say, 'This is a huge fight!' When you look at it, in reality it doesn't really mean anything. There is no title on the line.
"There's a made up title on the line, someone just told me like five minutes ago there is that belt on the line. That's hilarious. It's awesome, good for those guys it's great, but it's hilarious.

"But that's what you do as a promotion. That is their job, so if you say, 'It's the BMF title, we put $50,000 behind making a belt,' that is because it's their job, to get you to care about it, to watch it, when really it's not that big of a deal of a fight.
"It is, great for those guys. But UFC's job is to spin it, create the thing for more people to watch. They do a great job of that. But for Nate and Jorge, good for them, I am happy for them. I like both those dudes, their camps, it's awesome and I am happy for them."
While many fans are on board with UFC's idea, it also has its detractors. However, Diaz has blasted those who are criticising the new belt.

"If there's anybody that's hatin' on it, like some of these journalists in here, it's because none of you are no fighters," he said in an explosive interview with TMZ Sport.
"You're (expletives), so shut the (expletive) up. Tell me I ain't the best mother (expletive) in the game - watch me fight the whole game and you.
"It's already a staple, and that we're fighting for the best mother (expletive) in the fight game. There's a belt for it. I called it against one of the other baddest mother (expletive)'s and everyone felt it, and we're like, 'This is what it is. These are the best guys in the game. We're going to watch it."
Dana White has confirmed that 'The Rock' will present the 'BMF' title to the winner while also revealing the belt will cost $50,000 (£40,000) for the company to make.

"That's a good question. I think the belt's like 50 grand," he said when asked about how much the belt will set back the UFC.
"He's gonna," White added about Dwayne Johnson's involvement at UFC 244. "He's taking my job. Listen, if The Rock wants to do it, The Rock gets what The Rock wants."
