Derrick Lewis Shockingly Spits In His Opponent's Food Ahead Of UFC Main-Event

Derrick Lewis has left fans stunned after he SPAT in his opponent's food ahead of their main-event clash at UFC Vegas 6.

Heavyweight contender Lewis is set to fight Aleksei Oleinik at this weekend's UFC card in Las Vegas.

But the popular UFC fighter has been embroiled in controversy over his shocking act on social media.

He uploaded a video of himself on Twitter spitting in Oleinik's food ahead of their scheduled bout at the UFC Apex.

"The UFC Performance Institute gave me my food," the American says in the video.

"But they also gave me Alexey's food too. Alexey... whatever, I can't even say his name.

"So, you know, I believe it's missing some ingredients. We're still going to get him his meal; it's very important. It's fight week, I know he's going to be hungry.

"It looks good, right? I'm going to add some flavor to his food."

Needless to say, Lewis' disgusting gesture sent social media wild.

One Twitter user confessed: "Dude I am fan of yours but you just disrespected the food here. People are dying of hunger across the world and you did this ? Best of luck for the fight."

A second tweeted: "Class, world hunger, respect..guess none of those things matter."

A third added: "Man why you gotta act like a 9 year old? This ain't it... that's a perfectly good meal someone could eat homie."

Lewis vs. Oleinik will serve as the main-event of UFC Vegas 6 on Saturday.

'The Black Beast' is riding a two-fight winning streak with victories over Blagoy Ivanov and Ilir Latifi.

The Russian veteran is also on a two-fight winning streak with victories over Maurice Greene and Fabricio Werdum.
