It wasn't the only incident that caught White off guard at the weigh ins.
Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa didn't get a chance to square off properly as tensions bubbled ahead of their middleweight title clash.
Costa wore his black belt to the weigh-in and decided bring a present for his rival.
The Brazilian reached into his pockets and removed a white belt, which he proceeded to launch at the 'Last Stylebender.'
Adesanya then caught it and threw it back at his opponent before White was forced to diffuse the situation.
