Conor McGregor's head coach John Kavanagh has dropped a huge hint that his star pupil is back in camp ahead of a UFC comeback.

McGregor, 31, hasn't fought since his devastating submission defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018 at UFC 229.

But the former 'champ-champ' is set to return to the famed Octagon after announcing his return at a press conference in Moscow.

And Kavanagh has fueled speculation that McGregor's return is imminent by posting a revealing message on social media.

"Due to reasons @SBG_Ireland is no longer open to non-members during the hours of 10am to 4pm. Please feel free to drop in outside these hours for pics or to visit our shop etc. Thank you for understanding," he wrote on Twitter.

Kavanagh's post got fans excited.

"Yup, this 100 percent confirms Conor is back, remember in the interview with ESPN he said he's changing his habits and the goal was to wake up at 9.... you guys are welcome, The Champ Champ is officially back," one social media user wrote.

A second Tweeted: "Conors back in town! Let the training begin!!"

A third added: "Champ champ is back in camp camp."

Regarding McGregor's UFC return, nothing is official yet. But he has expressed his desire to fight on January 18 in Las Vegas.

And it appears Donald Cerrone is the frontrunner to welcome McGregor back to the UFC.
