Conor McGregor believes Khabib Nurmagomedov should be stripped of the UFC lightweight title if he stays away from the Octagon, saying: "We'll get him!"
McGregor warned Nurmagomedov ahead of his highly-anticipated comeback against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
When a reporter asked UFC president Dana White about the Russian's retirement decision, the Irishman chimed in: "We'll get him... we'll get him!"
Following his crunch meeting with White, Nurmagomedov said he does not see fights in his future.

And McGregor reacted to his claim during the UFC 257 pre-fight press conference.
He added: "I would make the case if that man is continuing to dodge this and dodge the commitment, the title should be stripped and we should be engaging in a title fight. I would predict the title strip after the fight
"As long as we fight again, we'll have no problem. If we don't, we'll see what happens."
