Conor McGregor nearly had a backstage brawl with the 'back-up' fighter for UFC 264, with the pair of UFC stars going at it on social media.
McGregor meets Dustin Poirier in a blockbuster trilogy bout in the main-event of UFC 264 on Saturday.

Both men weighed in and hit the mark - as well as Rafael dos Anjos who will serve as the back-up for their lightweight showdown.
The Brazilian will slide into the Las Vegas clash should McGregor or Poirier be unable to compete.
Of course, he has history with the Irishman having previously been scheduled to face him before pulling out with injury.
Though he renewed hostilities with the 'Notorious' at the UFC Apex during the official weigh-in.

The latest installment of UFC Embedded shows McGregor and Dos Anjos exchanging words.
McGregor was then escorted by security while hurling abuse at Dos Anjos, calling him a 'rat' before mocking his withdrawal at UFC 196.
Prior to the incident, when the former UFC champ-champ found out that Dos Anjos was the back-up fighter, he tweeted: "Put dos anjos in at the same time."
The 36-year-old hit back: "Alcoholic hallucinosis from drinking cheap whiskey until 3:39am."
The ex-UFC lightweight king then reacted to the backstage run-in, branding McGregor a 'snake' in a damning tweet.

He wrote: "Conor you're such a snake, sneaking from behind and playing tough. Soon or later we will finish business. I'm not like the guys you play around with."
Dos Anjos may have to wait before getting his hands on McGregor, unless Poirier drops out at the last-minute.
