Bellator president Scott Coker has reached out to Brock Lesnar's team over a super-fight against MMA great Fedor Emelianenko.
Lesnar, 43, has cut ties with WWE after failing to agree a new contract with a return to MMA potentially on the cards.
He revealed that he reached out to his team and put an offer on the table regarding a comeback.
"The situation with Brock Lesnar is I don't even know if he's a free agent," he said.
"I don't even know if he wants to fight. I don't know what his situation is. I reached out and talked to them and said, 'Hey, if Brock wants to fight Fedor, we have the guy who could be the fight that never happened.'
"We'll see if that happens. We'll see if that's something he's serious about. Only Brock knows."
Coker added: "If he was available, I'm sure we could make a deal. I'd go right to our CEO, Bob Bakish, and talk to him about it.
"I'd say, 'This is a great opportunity.'
"I would bring Stephen Espinoza (and) David Nevins in the mix because it'd probably be a big commitment, but that's a big piece of business, as well."
An interesting deal for Lesnar who also has an offer from Dana White. The UFC president said he would be prepared to book him against UFC star Jon Jones.
When asked about Lesnar vs. Jones, White replied: "It would be a good introduction for Jones into the heavyweight division. If they wanted to do it, I would do it."
Brock is way too slow, I'll embarrass him. https://t.co/rbg2Lfgpnw- BONY (@JonnyBones) August 20, 2019
Lesnar hasn't fought in MMA since July 2016 when he beat Mark Hunt at UFC 200.
But the result was overturned to a no-contest after he failed a post-fight drug test.
