Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has teased a monstrous fight between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua.

The Matchroom boss even suggested a blockbuster two-fight UFC and boxing deal between Ngannou and Dillian Whyte.

Ngannou, who became UFC heavyweight champion last month, hinted at transitioning to boxing to face Joshua or Tyson Fury.

Hearn has caught wind of his comments and appeared to be on board as he talked up Ngannou vs. either Joshua or Whyte.

"AJ wants to be the best, but he also wants to do different things once he meets his goals," he said, before throwing out another cross-over bout in Katie Taylor vs. 'Cyborg' or Amanda Nunes.

He added: "So a fight with Francis Ngannou isn't impossible. Just like Katie Taylor vs Cyborg or Nunes, potentially."

However, it seems like Hearn is angling for Ngannou vs. Whyte in a two-fight series which would see one fight in the famed Octagon and another in a boxing ring.

The 41-year-old continued: "I love Francis Ngannou. We almost had a presser with Dillian Whyte and him, but the UFC shut that down after we taped it.

"We do have the footage, though. I would love to see a double matchup with Ngannou and Dillian Whyte.

"One in the cage and one out of it. Ditto for Taylor and Nunes."
