Mike Tyson Sends Message To Cody Garbrandt After Epic Buzzer-Beater KO At UFC 250

Mike Tyson sent Cody Garbrandt a message of congratulations after the UFC star's epic buzzer-beater KO at UFC 250.

Garbrandt brutally knocked Raphael Assuncao out cold at the buzzer in the second round on Saturday.

The former UFC bantamweight champion landed a superb right-hook that instantly slept his Brazilian opponent at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

And 'Iron' Mike was impressed with what he saw from the 28-year-old.

On Twitter, he posted: "Congrats @Cody_Nolove on your comeback knockout 2nite #UFC250."

Garbrandt recorded his first win since 2016 and snapped a three-fight losing skid.

Speaking after his big win, he said: It feels amazing. It's been a journey. I went from the top of the world 11-0, 25 years old, world champion to a three-fight skid.

"I got the passion back in my heart and the mentality to be the best in the world once again."

The bantamweight division is loaded with young stars and dangerous contenders with Garbrandt reintroducing himself to the division in spectacular fashion.
