Jake Paul has been branded an "embarrassment to society" by UFC star Colby Covington who hopes Ben Askren shuts his mouth.

It will be the 24-year-old's toughest test to date having already beat a fellow YouTuber and an ex-basketball player.
Paul has made a big splash since making his boxing debut last year, largely due to his social media antics which includes him calling out the likes of Conor McGregor and Dana White.

Though his stunts have not gone done well with Covington who says he is "sick of hearing him talk" and is backing Askren to do the business when they meet.
"Hopefully Ben goes out there and knocks out Jake Paul," he told Helen Yee.
"I'm just sick of hearing him talk. He's just running his mouth and there's no substance behind anything he says."
'Chaos' added: "I think he will [beat Paul], I think he's just going to put that pressure on him.

"If he uses the clinch and just ties him up and just gets him tired, there's no doubt he has a better gas tank than Jake Paul - some little YouTuber.
"The kid's a complete joke, he's an embarrassment to society, he's an embarrassment to the MMA and boxing world in general.
"I hope Ben goes out there and shuts his mouth."
Paul is 2-0 in boxing and boasts victories over 'AnEsonGib' & Nate Robinson as he prepares to face Askren, who hasn't fought since losing to Demian Maia back in October 2019.

As for Covington, the brash American stopped Tyron Woodley in his last UFC outing.
He's eyeing another shot at UFC gold with champion Kamaru Usman defending his title against Jorge Masvidal at the end of the month.
