Watch: Michael Bisping Is Knocked Out By Kelvin Gastelum In First Round

Michael Bisping was knocked out in the first round in his second UFC headline fight in 21 days.
After being choked out by Georges St-Pierre and losing his middleweight title three weeks ago, the 38-year old took the fight with Kelvin Gastelum on incredibly short notice after Anderson Silva, his scheduled opponent for the Shanghai event, was hit with a USADA violation.
And in the very first round, Gastelum knocked out the 38-year old with a series of strikes, including one devastating punch with his left, to put Bisping away in the Manchester fighter's penultimate fight.
Woah.

Here's how Twitter reacted, with the majority of social media applauding Bisping for being the absolute warrior that he is and taking this fight:
That was really hard to watch, I'm an MMA fan because of Michael Bisping. So much respect, He's a dying breed. Can't wait to watch him for the finale in March, hope he gets a kind matchup. Fucking love you Mike mate. #UFCShanghai :flag_gb:

Michael Bisping gets knocked out, three weeks after he was choked out by GSP. In my opinion it was irresponsible of the UFC to throw Bisping back in there so quickly. Fighters need time to recover.

Michael Bisping: Congratulations to Kelvin. I've done this for a long time. I'm getting old. Sorry guys.

Michael @bisping apologising for losing that fight. Got absolutely nothing to apologise for, stepped in to a fight on short notice where he had nothing to gain. The guy is an absolute legend and the best British mma fighter ever. #UFCShanghai

Bisping was an absolute class act in his post-match, praising his opponent and honestly admitting that he is coming to the end.
He still wants more swansong though, with a London bout in March mooted for the future UFC Hall of Famer.
As for Gastelum, the ninth best middleweight fighter in the world according to the UFC rankings, he is targeting a fight with interim middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in Perth.
