Not one but FIVE messages.

Conor McGregor has responded to Khabib Nurmagomedov's devastating UFC 219 victory, while also jabbing at Floyd Mayweather.

Nurmagomedov compiled his 25th professional MMA victory, keeping his unblemished record in tact after brutalising Edson Barboza.

It appears he's put himself in line to challenge for UFC gold. He called out both Tony Ferguson (interim title holder) and McGregor (lightweight champion).

The Dagestani phenom was supposed to fight Ferguson in March of 2017 until he was forced to withdraw through a botched weight cut.

And a fight against the Irishman has always been muted.

McGregor talked up a fight against Nurmagomedov by claiming he'd fight him in Russia.

And he's continued to stoke their rivalry by responding to his fight at UFC 219. Despite Nurmagomedov's dominant display, McGregor is not impressed.

Moments later, Nurmagomedov fired back.

What's more, he also saved some social media ammunition by savagely trolling Mayweather.

The retired boxer suggested he'd be able to earn a billion dollar payday in the UFC, but then back tracked on his comments.

After directing a Tweet towards Nurmagomedov, McGregor then turned his attention to his former foe.

He continued his Twitter tirade with a plea.

"Truly truly truly get on your fucking knees and beg me. Otherwise I don't give a bollox. My whiskey is out this year and thats Diddy bread."

Then two more outrageous posts.

Will we see McGregor inside the Octagon or boxing ring in 2018?
