UFC star Khamzat Chimaev is incredibly eager to fight - so much so that he wants to fight three times in one night.

Chechen-born Swede Chimaev made his UFC debut on 'Fight Island' in July and produced two dominant performances 10 days apart when he convincingly beat John Phillips and Rhys Mckee and only had two strikes come his way inside the Octagon.

His next bout is against Gerald Meerschaert in Las Vegas on September 19 but 'Borz' is already thinking ahead and is keen on slugging it out with veteran grappler Demian Maia as well as Nate and Nick Diaz - the latter having just announced his intentions to return in 2021.

He took to Twitter to state his desire and how there is "easy money in the welterweight division" and tagged UFC president Dana White.

Clearly that sort of arrangement is never going to happen but White has already talked glowingly about Chimaev and his love of fighting.

"The guy is unbelievable; just incredible," he said in July.

Any guy who wants to stay active, who wants to keep fighting, I love that. I just love it. He's a guy who wants to fight and doesn't care who it is.

"He just wants to stay active and to me, that's the way guys should think.

"He's special. He's a super talented guy and his confidence is through the roof. He truly believes he's the best in the world.

"His quote tonight, literally, was 'Give me whoever, I'll smash everybody.' I love that mentality."

Big things are expected for the undefeated Chimaev, who hit headlines after revealing he travelled to Dublin and planned to "beat up" Conor McGregor before being detained.

The Meia fight at welterweight is one White is targeting for when UFC return to 'Fight Island' in the near future.

"He'll fight here [in Las Vegas] and he'll fight in 'Fight Island'," the UFC president said, as per RT.

"Yeah, this guy wants to...I love that mentality. We're working on a fight for him here, it's still being worked. But we're talking about him and Demian Maia on 'Fight Island'."
