Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs Justin Gaethje: Full List Of UFC 254 Salaries Have Been Revealed

Former MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov took home over a hefty $6m for his sensational victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, according to reports.

The 32-year-old Russian successfully locked in a triangle chokehold in the second round to retain the lightweight championship on Saturday.

Following the headline UFC 254 fight, Khabib announced that he would be retiring from MMA after notching up an unblemished 29-0 record.

The Sports Daily now reports that the 'Eagle' picked up $6m to show up for the fight, along with $50,000 for Performance of the Night bonus and $40,000 for fight week incentive pay.

Meanwhile, Gaethje only managed to walk away from the Khabib clash with $440,000, which included his $40,000 for fight week incentive pay.

The Sports Daily does add that international fight commissions don't release any information behind a fighter's pay package.

However, the publication insisted that a 'fairly accurate picture of a fighter's pay [is] based on official purse info released from past fights.'
