Khabib Sparks Rumours Of Not Making Weight For Comeback Fight After Missing UFC 242 Media Day

Khabib Nurmagomedov has cast major doubt over his sensational return at UFC 242 after he missed the event's main media day.

The Russian UFC star, 30, will defend his lightweight championship against Dustin Poirier on Saturday.

And Khabib was present during the media workouts held on Wednesday as he trained on the pads and spoke to fans.

However, the undefeated lightweight champ failed to turn up for the important media day on Thursday amid speculation that he won't make the weight for the upcoming fight.

The 'Eagle' will need to hit 155lbs to reach the limit for the clash with Poirier, but it's not the first time that he has missed weight.

Khabib failed to make weight in 2017 and was also hospitalised in the lead up to his planned clash with Tony Ferguson.

The Dagestan superstar has been out of the octagon since his stunning victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 229 in October last year.
