Khabib Nurmagomedov fired back at Conor McGregor after the Irishman left his rival off his MMA 'GOAT' list.
The Notorious produced a big thread on who he deems to be the four best MMA fighters ever to step inside the Octagon yesterday, picking Anderson Silva, himself, Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones in a Twitter thread where he explained his selections.
But he then stated that 'PED results' drop 'The Spider' Silva from the top spot and so McGregor himself claimed to be the "clear current No.1 MMA GOAT."
UFC Lightweight champion Khabib, who is 28-0 and holds the longest active unbeaten streak in MMA, did not get a mention whatsoever by McGregor.
When asked by a fan where he would rank the Russian, the Notorious fighter completely dismissed his "fancy record", said his only highlight was the win over him with a "hangover and "broken foot" before claiming he "bottled many bouts".
Khabib was never going to stay quiet and he responded by reminding the double champ that he tapped out in three different weight classes, never defended his belts in both UFC and Cage Warriors and stating that he gave up more than the legends he listed.

He did say McGregor was the GOAT, but in "UFC Twitter history' instead.
UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jones also weighed in, thanking Khabib and saying he prefers to let the fans do the debating.
