Khabib Nurmagomedov Names His Six Greatest UFC Fighters Of All Time
Khabib Nurmagomedov has listed who he thinks are the greatest fighters in UFC history and he's included some legendary names.
'The Eagle' is renowned as one of the hottest stars in modern MMA and is the reigning UFC lightweight champion.
But he's opted to not include himself on a list of the greatest to step into the octagon.
When asked by CBS Sports' State Of Combat if he wants to go down as one of the GOATs, the 31-year-old replied:
"Talk about like 'oh I am the greatest of all time?' I don't know. We have Jon Jones, Fedor [Emelianenko].
"We have Demetrious Johnson, we have Henry Cejudo, we have DC [Daniel Cormier], Anderson Silva and a lot of guys.
"One of the best, maybe, but I don't want to be talking about 'I am the greatest of all time.' Honestly, like one of the best."
All of the names listed by Khabib are legends in the fight game and have won numerous championships in different weight classes between them.
Khabib was initially scheduled to face Tony Ferguson in a highly-anticipated showdown last month at UFC 249.
But the undefeated Russian star was unable to defend his championship crown due to travel restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Khabib has since revealed that he could make his sensational UFC return in September after he was forced to pull out of UFC 249.
"But until September, it's not too far, though," he wrote in an Instagram post.
"It's hard to believe everything will end by September. But yet one serious person said: 'That in the peaceful time [sic] you have to prepare for war.'"
Do you agree with Khabib's list of the UFC's greatest ever fighters?
