Khabib FaceTimes Cristiano Ronaldo As Teammate Jokes UFC Champ Is "Putting Together A Serious Team"

Khabib Nurmagomedov has been captured having a chat with Cristiano Ronaldo with the retired UFC star's teammate joking that he's "putting together a serious team."

UFC lightweight champion Nurmagomedov and Juventus forward Ronaldo became friends a few years ago, with the pair keeping in touch.

'CR7' wished Nurmagomedov well ahead of his UFC 254 title bout and congratulated him following his dominant submission victory over Justin Gaethje.

And they spoke recently when Ronaldo and Nurmagomedov FaceTimed each other as filmed by Islam Makhachev.

"Damn, he's putting together a serious team," joked the UFC lightweight contender.

Nurmagomedov was also recently pictured with former AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf.

He revealed that the Dutchman was his late father's favourite footballer.

The 29-0 fighter uploaded a picture of himself with Seedorf, accompanied with the caption: "This guy was my Father favorite football player. Nice to meet you my Friend."

Nurmagomedov is currently in Dubai as he plans to corner his cousin Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 257.

The bantamweight prospect faces Sergey Morozov on the undercard of Conor McGregor's comeback fight against Dustin Poirier on January 23.

'The Eagle' is also slated to meet with UFC president Dana White to discuss his future following his shock retirement last year.
