'The Nigerian Nightmare' is defending his welterweight title against Jorge Masvidal on Fight Island, with 'Gamebred' taking the fight on six days notice after a positive coronavirus test from Gilbert Burns nixed the original bout.

Usman wants to do some serious damage to his opponent given the animosity between them but despite UFC president Dana White insisting it's a "one and done" - he also wants Masvidal's BMF strap, won courtesy of an impressive win over Nate Diaz at UFC 244.
Speaking to TMZ Sports: "That's my sh*t. Absolutely. They're saying it's the BMF, they're really considering it as a real title, kind of like an interim thing or whatever.
"They're really considering this a title so you know what? After I go out there and beat his ass and ragdoll him, that s**t is coming home with me so I can throw it in my closet."
While Usman would look good with two belts over his shoulder, Daniel Cormier insists he does not need the 'baddest motherf**ker' of the Octagon' title.
Instead, he believes the title should be fought for by both Masvidal and Diaz after their first bout was abruptly ended by a doctor stoppage, while he also name-dropped Yoel Romero, rising bantamweight superstar Sean O'Malley and veteran of the sport Donald Cerrone.
Masvidal, meanwhile, is keen to run it back with Diaz and offer him a welterweight title shot should he be victorious in Abu Dhabi.
Talking to ESPN, Masvidal said: "I always said Nate's a bad mother******, man...There's two guys on my radar and Nate is definitely one of them because, no matter what, it was a good fight. Me or the world didn't get the result we wanted and I know Nate wants to run it back.
"Speaking from the heart, I want to run it back so when I get this title, would anything be better than giving him the opportunity he gave me to fight for his BMF belt?"
