UFC Champion Kamaru Usman Perfectly Shuts Down Colby Covington For Slamming NBA Boycott

UFC star Kamaru Usman has shut down long-time rival Colby Covington for his shocking blast at LeBron James over his NBA boycott.

James and his fellow NBA players boycotted their matches over the senseless shooting of Jacob Blake.

Blake, 29, was left paralysed after being shot in the back seven times by a police officer.

The tragic incident took place in the state of Wisconsin and NBA side Milwaukee Bucks initiated the protest by refusing to play in the fifth game of their play-off fixture against Orlando Magic.

LA Lakers' James supported the move, he tweeted: "F**K THIS MAN!!!! WE DEMAND CHANGE. SICK OF IT."

But his stance didn't go down well with former UFC interim welterweight champion Covington who said: "Oh wow, you postponed your games?! Wanna prove you're really about change? Quit your multi million dollar jobs and soft privileged lives playing a kids game, take a massive pay cut and perform the toughest job in America. Become cops!!!!"

UFC welterweight king Usman wasted no time in responding to Covington's outburst.

He replied: "I really wish someone would just break your jaw already..."

Of course, Usman is referring to their fight at UFC 245 when he inflicted a broken jaw on Covington who suffered a crushing title defeat last December.

Meanwhile, NBA players have agreed to resume action on Saturday following a three-day protest.
