Full UFC 251 Medical Suspensions Revealed As Kamaru Usman Faces Lengthy Suspension

UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman could be sidelined for up to a whopping six months as UFC 251's full medical suspension list has been revealed.

The 33-year-old MMA star was initially scheduled to face Gilbert Burns at UFC 251 earlier this month.

But Burns was pulled from the title fight after testing positive for coronavirus, with Jorge Masvidal stepping up for the UFC 251 clash on six days' notice.

Usman successfully defended his title for the second time on 12th July with a unanimous decision victory over Masvidal.

Earlier reports suggested that the 'Nigerian Nightmare' would receive a 180-day suspension "due to the potential of a broken nose."

However, MMA Fighting reports that Usman could be sidelined for up to six months unless he can provide a 'clean X-ray of his nose.'

Masvidal, who has called for a rematch with Usman, has been handed down a 30-day suspension for forehead laceration.

Volkan Oezdemir: suspended 60 days due to KO, 45 days no contact.

Elizeu Zaleski: suspended mandatory seven days.
