Kamaru Usman And Jorge Masvidal Have Intense Face-Off Ahead Of UFC 251 Title Fight

Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal have faced off for the very first time ahead of their highly-charged UFC 251 clash.

Usman and Masvidal shared an intense head-to-head a day before their UFC welterweight title bout on Saturday.

The pair of welterweight stars successfully made weight for their championship contest, both hitting 170lbs on Friday.

'Gamebred' took to social media to react to making weight after accepting to replace Gilbert Burns on just six-days' notice.

"Don't listen to the #woke mob #Goya beans are the best beans with some white rice. I'm a Latino son of immigrants that was blessed enough to eat #goyafoods in good times and in the bad times #supernecessary," he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, 'The Nigerian Nightmare' insists Masvidal is the "toughest" opponent he's faced.

"He's the best out of each and every one of (my past opponents). He's the best. He's the next guy in front of me," the defending champion explained.

"He's the toughest guy in front of me, so I don't take him lightly. I'm going out there with all my thoughts, the thought that he's the best opponent that I have faced today, and I have to go out there and treat him accordingly."
