Jon Jones has responded to potential opponent Jan Blachowicz saying "can't wait to fist you".

The Polish UFC fighter's words appeared to be lost in translation on Twitter and he ended up sounding like he had interest in sexual encounters with 'Bones' as opposed to mixing it up in the Octagon with him after three consecutive victories.

Perplexed by the phrasing of the comments, the UFC light heavyweight champ replied and called the 37-year old a "strange guy"

The exchange came about because of Jones' original tweet during which he emphasised wanting to have some "fresh meat" in regards to his next fight.

The 32-year old's last bout was against Dominick Reyes and though 'The Devastator' performed well in the unanimous points defeat in Houston, Texas, Jones isn't keen on a second fight.

"Now suddenly I'm afraid of a good dogfight? Pretty sure I walked him down for 25 minutes straight when we fought." Jon Jones wrote.

"One thing about being the champion of the world, you got to search for fresh meat on every soil. I'm feeling like popping some cherries in Poland, haven't had that yet."

Reyes pushed Jones to the limit in their five-round fight and he wasted no time in responding to Jones by calling him out for his tactics.
