YouTube star Jake Paul has staunchly defended his position to trash-talk Conor McGregor's partner, Dee Devlin, by saying that he is "getting a taste of his own medicine."

The 23-year-old American dropped an X-rated callout video where he offered the Irish UFC superstar $50m to fight him inside the squared circle.

And Paul didn't waste his opportunity to take a dig at Devlin, who McGregor has been engaged to since 2008 and had two children with.

"What the f**k is up, you Irish c**t? Good morning, Conor McGregor," he said in the callout video.

"I know you're probably beating up old dudes in a bar right now or maybe you're jerking off as you're sick of f*****g your wife.

"I mean, she's a four [out of 10]. Conor, you could do a lot better, but happy Monday!"

However, Paul has insisted that his controversial comments are justified after McGregor's remarks towards fierce rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor, who lost to Khabib in their 2018 blockbuster mega-fight, was accused of using a racial slur when he mocked the Russian superstar's wife in a social media post.

The 'Notorious' tweeted a photo of Khabib on his wedding day with his partner and added another picture of a towel, saying in the caption: "Your wife is a towel mate."

Speaking to TMZ, Paul pointed to McGregor's comments towards Khabib's wife as the reason he doesn't regret his insults towards Devlin.

"I don't give a f**k. He [McGregor] spoke on Khabib's wife. He said Khabib's wife looks like a towel," the YouTuber said.

"He's getting a taste of his own medicine. And now all of a sudden, people are butthurt [and saying that] I'm going too far. F**k off. This is the fight game."

Paul continued by hitting out at McGregor's fans and calling out the double standards from the Irishman and his teammate Dillon Danis.

He explained: "Like why are people being b*****s now all of a sudden? You know, same with Dillon Danis.

"They've said f****d up s**t about religion, Khabib's religion; F**k those guys."

Paul also revealed in the TMZ interview 'proof' of a $50m offer he made to McGregor's team for the fight.
