Conor McGregor Reveals Hilarious Messages He And David Beckham Shared Ahead Of Floyd Mayweather Fight
The 31-year-old Irish superstar famously crossed over into boxing in 2017 and clashed with Mayweather in Las Vegas.
McGregor was stopped in the 10th round of the bout against the boxing legend, but his training left a lasting impression on Beckham.
Beckham, 45, visited the UFC Performance Institute while the 'Notorious' was preparing for the Mayweather fight.
And the Manchester United legend jokingly messaged McGregor about the idea of getting into fighting, with the former UFC superstar ready to make it happen.
McGregor told Entertainment.ie: "He was at the Ultimate Fighting Championship performance institute where I prepared for the Floyd fight [and] put up a post and tagged me in it.

"We were talking about it and he said, 'It makes me want to get into fighting.'
"I was like, 'Say no more David... We can make that happen, you know we can make that happen if you want!' So we had a little laugh about it."
McGregor continued to open up about his relationship with the football icon and claimed that Beckham messages him "on Instagram every now and then."
The future UFC Hall of Famer followed in the footsteps of Beckham and ventured into the fashion world with August McGregor clothing line in 2018.
But McGregor reiterated that the former Real Madrid superstar remained the "OG of the whole picture from a fashion standpoint that I've capitalised on."
The former UFC double champ explained: "David Beckham is an OG.
"An OG of the whole picture from a fashion standpoint that I've capitalised on and from a sporting standpoint -- his was football, mine's fighting.
"I have much respect for him and the empire he has built."
