Compilation Of Tony Ferguson’s Unorthodox Fighting Shows Why He's Khabib’s Toughest Test
A UFC fan has created a compilation to highlight why Tony Ferguson might be the 'weirdest MMA fighter' ahead of his clash with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
UFC has tried to book the Ferguson-Khabib clash on four separate occasions in the past, each time falling through for different reasons.
But the two UFC stars are now expected to clash for the lightweight championship on 18th April at UFC 249.
A fan's compilation video for Ferguson, 35, shows his various fights where he has puzzled fighters with his unusual style.
And that's not to mention moments where 'El Cucuy' has unleashed devastating elbow strikes with his back on the octagon mat.
Some fans are convinced that Ferguson, who is on a 12 consecutive winning streak in UFC, will be the man to hand Khabib his first loss.
One YouTube user wrote: "Khabib is about to be handed his first L."
While another fan posted: "Khabib almost got chocked [sic] by Dustin [Poirier] from a guillotine I think Tony has a chance against him."
And Bman added: "The Champ 2020 Tony Time Here we come baby."
User marcda2000 said: "The best lightweight with Khabib, let's see who is the best between these two."

Ferguson hasn't fought inside the octagon since his TKO victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC 238 last June.
And long-time UFC commentator Joe Rogan called 'El Cucuy' the most "unorthodox" fighter he has ever seen.
He said on The Joe Rogan Experience last month: "It's a great fight [Khabib-Tony].
"I love the fight. Stylistically, [Ferguson is] the best guy that Khabib has ever faced because he can fight off his back.
"He's a guy that doesn't survive off his back, he attacks off his back.
"He's the most unorthodox high-level guy ever.
"He's real good. At his level -- I consider him a world championship calibre fighter -- at his level, I don't know of anybody that's more unorthodox than him.
"And his f*****g cardio, man... his cardio is crazy. Off the charts. I've never seen anybody with cardio like that."
One UFC fan has also made a compilation to show before and after photos of five opponents that Ferguson 'brutalised' in the octagon.
