Dana White has responded to videos surfacing showing BJ Penn in a bad way and it looks like it could be all over for the UFC Hall of Famer.

Penn, who has lost seven straight bouts, was recently involved in two fights with the same bloke during a visit to a nightclub in Pahoa and was knocked out in footage published by TMZ.

The 40-year old later told TSN he was trying to diffuse the situation and the videos did not tell the full story - but it proved to be another situation Penn found himself in - with his estranged girlfriend being granted a restraining order against him after accusing him of physical, verbal and sexual abuse earlier this year.

He had been slated to fight Nik Lentz in his UFC swansong, with Lentz even offering to get him back on the straight and narrow by allowing him to stay in his house and train at his gym at his fight.

However, White has now stated that the former two-weight champion will not be getting his final hurrah as he feels he needs to "get himself together" before he returns to the Octagon.

"He won't fight again," White told ESPN, as per MMA Fighting.

"That's it. It's a wrap. "It's not even that this was the last straw.

"I didn't love him continuing to fight anyway, but we having the relationship that he and I have and he's getting me on the phone, begging me for another fight, begging me for another opportunity, it's hard for me to turn him down, but after what I saw on that video, B.J. needs to focus on his personal life and get himself together before he thinks about fighting again.

"Listen, I don't wanna sit here on TV and pick B.J. apart on his life or whatever. I think that we all know what B.J. Penn needs to do and hopefully B.J. Penn knows what B.J. Penn needs to do.

"[I'm] not gonna sit here like I'm his father or I'm some guy who's above him and pointing the finger at B.J. and B.J. needs to do this and that. What I saw in that video was sad. I love the kid and I hope he gets his life together."
