Dana White has revealed that Jorge Masvidal's sensational knockout win against Ben Askren is his favourite KO in UFC history.

Masvidal, 35, holds the record for the fastest knockout in UFC history at five seconds with his flying knee strike on Askren at UFC 239 last year.

'Gamebred' immediately ran towards his opponent and managed to connect with Askren as he lowered his head.

Masvidal followed up with two strikes to Askren on the mat before the fight was stopped and the UFC star chalked up a stunning victory.

During a Reddit AMA on Thursday, an MMA fan asked White which UFC knockout was his favourite to date.

The 50-year-old UFC president picked Masvidal's flying knee KO, but he insisted that his choice wasn't anything personal against Askren.

White wrote: "Hmmm. When I give you this answer everyone is going to think it's because I don't like Ben Askren.

"And it's just not true at all. I do like Ben. But it's hard not to pick Masvidal vs Askren."

Masvidal showed little sympathy towards Askren in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan and admitted he wanted to "beat his a**e for 14 minutes and 50 seconds."

He explained: "I really wanted to beat his a**e for 14 minutes and 50 seconds, but it didn't happen.

"You should've kept your mouth shut, I probably would have beat you in the second round."

Askren, 35, suffered back-to-back UFC losses before he announced his retirement from MMA in 2019.
