UFC superstar Conor McGregor has made it clear that he is focused and will deliver a flawless performance against Dustin Poirier in his hotly anticipated MMA return.

The 'Notorious' ended his short-lived retirement last November when he officially signed his fight deal to face Poirier in a rematch at UFC 257 on 23rd January.
McGregor has since taken to Twitter to promise fans they can expect to see a "masterpiece" when he returns to the octagon.
The former featherweight and lightweight champ tweeted: "I promise a masterpiece."
McGregor has been sharing clips on social media of him training hard as he has undergone a remarkable body transformation since his 2018 defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

"When I fly out there, Khabib's going to be there, too. So, I'm going to meet with Khabib while I'm there," he said.
"In a perfect world, if Conor wins this fight, I would love to see the rematch with him and Khabib. It's the fight that makes sense."

McGregor fought Poirier at UFC 178 in 2014 and sealed a TKO victory in the first round of their fight in Las Vegas.
Poirier, 31, bounced back from his 2019 defeat to Khabib at UFC 242 with a victory over Dan Hooker at UFC Vegas 4 in June last year.
