UFC superstar Conor McGregor will make his hotly-anticipated return to the octagon on 23rd January against Dustin Poirier, according to reports.
McGregor, who picked up a 40-second TKO victory over Cerrone, shocked the MMA world in June when he announced his retirement so soon after his UFC return.

But now the 'Notorious' has signed his bout agreement to face Poirier, who he defeated in a first-round TKO victory at UFC 178 in 2014.
According to TheMacLife, the fight between McGregor and Poirier will be held at 155 pounds and could be hosted in Abu Dhabi -- presumably at UFC's 'Fight Island' as other events have been held their over the course of the pandemic.
McGregor, who has undergone a remarkable body transformation, had teased late last month in a cryptic social media post that 'big news' was coming.

The former dual champ has been linked with the Poirier rematch in recent months and even suggested that he would donate to the UFC star's charity, the Good Fight Foundation.
Speaking about a potential second fight with Poirier, McGregor recently admitted: "I am very grateful to be about to return and get to do what I love again.
"I look forward to the fresh test Dustin will bring since our first bout, while also showcasing my own incredibly deep cache of weaponry. Whatever tool is needed on the night will be pulled from the duffel.
"I am also really excited about aiding Dustin's charity, the Good Fight Foundation, which through the donation, will build a gym/premise for disadvantaged youth in his childhood hometown.

"I truly love this, and pledge to match the donation on a premise in my own childhood hometown! Both spots with an ode to the upcoming bout."
Poirier, 31, bounced back from his UFC 242 defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov with a unanimous decision victory over Dan Hooker at UFC Vegas 4 in June.
