Conor McGregor has posted new footage of him boxing, though the general consensus is that the 'The Notorious' looked less than impressive.
The Irishman, who dabbled into the world of boxing with a defeat to Floyd Mayweather in his money-spinning debut back in August 2017, was throwing combinations on the punchbag in a clip on his Instagram.
But while the first ever UFC dual-weight champion he's proved he's a highly efficient and deadly striker inside the Octagon, fans felt the Southpaw fighter looked a little slack here and it might be in his best interests to stick to MMA.
McGregor, who claims to have retired from UFC as "nothing excites" him, has always talked about his interest in getting back inside the squared circle and has dropped plenty of hints about a boxing return of late.

In May, the 31-year old "accepted" a challenge from Oscar de La Hoya after the boxing legend said he would put him away in two rounds if they met inside the ring.
"Oh, come on, brother," De La Hoya said, as per Boxing Scene.
"Two rounds. Because one thing about me, one thing about me, I went for the kill always. And look, Conor McGregor is - I love him in The Octagon. I respect him. I watch him all the time. But the boxing ring is a whole different story. It's a whole different story."
