Conor McGregor appeared to threatened to kill Dustin Poirier and his wife Jolie "in their sleep" in shocking footage in the aftermath of the UFC 264 main event.
Poirier won the trilogy series after McGregor suffered a clean break of the tibia at the end of the first round and referee Herb Dean was forced to stop the fight.
McGregor was taken away on a stretcher and has since undergone surgery on his leg.
But as he sat on the canvas in the Octagon, the Irishman was incensed and made some chilling threats to his opponent, who he still wants a piece of.

"In your sleep you're getting it, in your sleep you're dead, you and your Mrs, it ain't over," McGregor can be heard saying in a clip taken from cageside.
He also aimed gun signs at Poirier's head, with this all happening while 'The Diamond' was given his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan
McGregor had been unusually pleasant with Poirier in the build-up and aftermath of their second bout on 'Fight Island' but turned nasty again for this encounter - vowing to "murder" the Louisiana fighter.

Poirier did not appreciate McGregor's comments and slammed the former lightweight champion in various interviews, as well as his press conference.
"Conor said some nasty stuff that didn't make it on 'Embedded,'" Poirier told reporters.

"Maybe when the behind-the-scenes for this fight airs, you'll see him on the ground still saying some really bad stuff.
"But even that stuff being said, I don't wish serious harm like that on nobody.
"The guy's got kids. I want him to go home safe to his family. I pray before these fights.
"Every time before I walk through that octagon door, I'm praying not for me to win.

"I'm praying that we both get out of there safe. I know what I'm going to try to do to him and I know what he's going to try to do with me."
Jolie, flipped the bird at the Notorious in response to McGregor's claims she had been in his Instagram DM's.
