BT Sport Release Incredible UFC 'Fight Island' Promo

BT Sport have released a stunning promo ahead of UFC's 'Fight Island' this month.

UFC are holding a total of four events on Yas Island off Abu Dhabi - including the stacked UFC 251 card on 11 July.

And this spine-tingling promo will seriously get you pumped up for the next batch of UFC cards as part of the promotion's very own version of Mortal Kombat.

Emphasising just how groundbreaking a move this from Dana White and company and giving off a serious Bruce Lee film vibe, only the strongest mixed martial artists will survive on 'Fight Island'.

White had been talking about securing a private island to stage fights for overseas fighters all the way back in April during the COVID-19 pandemic and would later confirm all the details.

On Sunday, the UFC president shared the first picture of a beach-bound Octagon which will likely be used for training, promos and interviews.

He then provided a first look at the testing and infrastructure in place on the location of the UFC 242 event back in September - stating it would be "an experience going to be so badass for my fighters".

There will be an arena, training facilities, dining facilities and hotels for those competing.

The action gets underway on July 11 with the incredible UFC 251 card, which will feature three title fights.

Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway will rematch for the featherweight title, Kamaru Usman will defend his welterweight belt against Gilbert Burns and Jose Aldo takes on Petr Yan for the vacant bantamweight strap.

Following that will be three Fight Night cards to take place on July 15, July 18, and July 25 - the latter date featuring the middleweight main event between Darren Till and Robert Whittaker.
