Brock Lesnar's Career Earnings From His UFC Fights Have Been Revealed

Ex-UFC superstar Brock Lesnar earned over a whopping $5m from his fights in the MMA organisation.

Lesnar, 42, transitioned from WWE to MMA and had a total of nine fights inside the octagon, eight of which came during his eight-year career in the UFC.

And the former UFC heavyweight champ's pay package continued to increase from his first fight with Frank Mir, in which he pocketed $250,000.

Despite the fact that Lesnar lost on his UFC debut to Mir at UFC 81 in 2008, the WWE star continued to make more money with the MMA promotion.

The 42-year-old American secured his most lucrative pay package in his final fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in 2016, which earned him an incredible $2.5m.

However, Lesnar was fined $250,000 for his failed drugs test and his victory over Hunt was later overturned as a no contest.

According to Game 7, Lesnar's earnings might not 'include any secret paydays' or 'bonuses he might have received from UFC president Dana White.'

UFC 81 (2008): Loss (Frank Mir) -- $250,000

UFC 87 (2008): Win (Heath Herring) -- $450,000 ($250,000 to show, $200,000 win bonus)

UFC 91 (2008): Win (Randy Couture) -- $450,000 ($250,000 to show, $200,000 win bonus)

UFC 100 (2009): Win (Frank Mir) -- $400,000

UFC 116 (2010): Win (Shane Carwin) -- $475,000 ($400,000 to show, $75,000 Submission of the Night bonus)

UFC 121 (2010): Loss (Cain Velasquez) -- $400,000

UFC 141 (2011): Loss (Alistair Overeem) -- $400,000

UFC 200 (2016): Win (Mark Hunt) -- $2,255,000 ($2,500,000 to show, $250,000 fine for failed drug test, $5,000 Reebok sponsorship)

Earnings: $5,125,000

UFC president White confirmed last year that Lesnar had retired from UFC, effectively dashing hopes of setting up dream clashes with fierce rivals Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones.

But WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle hinted last August that Lesnar could come out of retirement for a clash with UFC light heavyweight champ Jones.

The 32-year-old UFC star slammed the idea of fighting Lesnar by calling him "slow" and saying he would "embarrass" him.
