Jorge Masvidal is sensationally open to fighting Jake Paul once he's done with facing the best in the UFC as he ruthlessly destroyed the budding boxing superstar.

A blockbuster bout between Masvidal, 36, and Paul, 24, has been mooted - with the YouTuber-turned-boxer calling for a showdown against the UFC ace.

And it appears 'Gamebred' is happy to square-off against 'The Problem Child', but only once he's retired from MMA.

Speaking about his feud with Paul, he told Ariel Helwani via the Mirror: "He knows at the end of the day, on a face-to-face, he can't say any of that.

"Unless he has his 50 bodyguards and I'm by myself.

"Because at the end of the day I can always pick this little kid up and slam him through the concrete so hard that he will be invalid for the rest of his life."

On fighting the 4-0 boxer, he added: "Right now, where I'm at in my career, I'm gonna fight the world's best fighters in the world.

"We can both agree that they're in the f**king UFC. In 170 pounds there's a lot of good guys and I could f**king beat them.

"And I'm gonna get the most money out of it, my brother.

"Now when I'm done beating up world-class fighters, if this will still be around, I'll go and collect a quick pay cheque for hitting him so f**king hard in front of the whole world.

"Those other options will always be there. But right now while I'm in my prime, I gotta do things that people in their prime do and that's fight the world's best.

"He's not in that conversation or ever will be."

Masvidal coached Paul in the lead up to his boxing bout against Ben Askren earlier in the year.

But their relationship has since turned sour, with both fighters seemingly interested in fighting each other down the line.

The 'BMF' is currently on a two-fight losing skid, having suffered back-to-back championship defeats to UFC welterweight king Kamaru Usman.

He returns to action in a grudge match against top contender Leon Edwards at UFC 269.
