YouTube star Jake Paul has once again called out Conor McGregor by hiring out a plane to send the UFC superstar a bold message.

The 24-year-old American has been keen to enter the squared circle with McGregor after his second-round KO victory over Nate Robinson on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr undercard.

Paul has even targeted McGregor's teammate Dillon Danis in a bizarre 'drive-by' water balloon attack, along with making him a $500,000 offer to fight him in March.

The YouTuber has now posted on social media the video of a plane carrying a simple message: "Conor McGregor is scared of Jake Paul."

One of Paul's entourage ran to the YouTuber after filming the plane as Paul called McGregor a "b***h."

Paul tweeted to his 3.8m followers: "Damn Conor... the whole world is starting to realize it... @TheNotoriousMMA."

However, the YouTuber has been slated by fans for his latest antics and questioned why McGregor would even bother fighting him after his 'desperate' stunts.

"Even if he fights Conor in a boxing ring, he will be coming out of the ring in a stretcher," one Twitter user said.

While another posted: "Damn, he really paid for that and said 'the whole world' like someone else did it."

A third tweeted: "This is the cringiest thing I've seen today."

And a fourth simply added: "Reeks of desperation."

McGregor has broken his silence over Paul's persistent callouts and even shown his admiration for the YouTuber's decision to fight in boxing.

But the 32-year-old Irish MMA fighter, who will fight Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 on 24th January, has insisted that he is on a completely different level to Paul.

"Am I into those competitions myself? You know it's not the most high-level -- if any level -- at that stage," McGregor said.

"Obviously, the Tyson vs Jones fight was very high level and very interesting to see what they're like in their older age. I thought they both fought amazingly.

"As they say, if it makes dollars, it makes sense. I know Dana [White] and the UFC are not really into it, but I'm not so against it.

"I think if people are willing to get in and take the risk of making that walk, I'm certainly a viewer."
