Brock Lesnar slammed Dana White for calling WWE "fake" while claiming Vince McMahon is a better promoter than the UFC boss.

Lesnar has enjoyed great success in both worlds with 'The Beast Incarnate' winning the WWE world heavyweight championship and the UFC heavyweight title.

And during an appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter, Lesnar gave a fascinating insight into both promotions and responded to White's damning verdict of professional wrestling.

The UFC boss branded WWE as "fake" in a Twitter spat which prompted an interesting response from Lesnar.

"Of course, Dana, it's fake," he said back in 2015. "Everybody knows that, but it's still the same - you're promoting the same thing we're promoting.

"Dana White is promoting fights, we're promoting fights. It just so happens that we get a little more longevity out of our fight and out of our fighters because of the circumstances.

"Dana, probably in his defense, is promoting fighting - but it's the same thing. He's trying to sell pay-per-views. He's trying to sell money fights. It's the same racket."

Lesnar continued by comparing their business models as well as the two bosses.

"The business model is the same; it's identical. I think Vince McMahon's better at it than Dana, and that might rub Dana the wrong way," he added.

"Vince is the pioneer of it. He's been doing this his whole life, and he's damned good at it."

After conducting this interview, Lesnar returned to the famed Octagon as he fought Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016.

He beat the Kiwi slugger, but his victory was overturned after he tested positive for steroids.

Lesnar has been linked with another MMA comeback, but he's yet to step foot back inside the cage despite his beef with active heavyweight Daniel Cormier.
