Newly-crowned UFC champ Jorge Masvidal has taken started a war of words with Conor McGregor, calling him a "f***ing midget" amongst other things and vowing to "f*** him up".

US President Donald Trump was in attendance last night as Masvidal defeated Nate Diaz via a 3rd round TKO during the main event at UFC 244 to officially become crowned the 'Baddest Motherf***** in the UFC'

But whilst his fight against Diaz may have ended in controversy with calls for a rematch, Masvidal has wasted no time in moving on to his next opponent, calling out Conor McGregor and challenging him to a fight.

Speaking in his post-fight press conference, Masvidal said: "You know what the f*** I'll do to that little dude, I'll f*** that little guy up. He's a f****** midget!

"Dana White, President of this mother f****** company, said that I'm too much of a man for him.

"I get it why people want to see him hurt for the stunts he's been pulling. But he don't want this s***, he's just talking so he can get his name out there.

"You see he punches old people in the face because those are fights he could win."

Masvidal's comments referred to an incident in which McGregor was fined £860 for punching an elderly man in a Dublin pun back in August.

Conor McGregor has been out of action since his October 2018 loss to bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, but has been gearing himself up for a comeback.

And the Irishman has already started stoking the flames ahead of a possible matchup against Masvidal, tweeting last night that "This is not a bad motherf****r weigh-in."

"I'm sad they didn't get to shake hands up there like they wanted to and tried to.

"It was so sad seeing this. It's like a love story up there. OMG Its the notebook.

"Now get out that f*****g cheque book and donate to my charity and the real bad man's back."

McGregor is scheduled to make his return to UFC on January 18th in Moscow, with Donald Cerrone currently tipped to be the frontrunner to face him.
