Who should Conor McGregor fight next? It's an easy one.
Now that Justin Gaethje, who was touted to take on McGregor in the summer, is facing Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 with the winner in line to face UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, 'The Notorious' is left without an opponent as he's out of the title picture for at least a year.

So, who should he face instead? Well, there's just ONE name that makes complete sense right now. Enter Nate Diaz.
Everyone's favourite anti-hero is just the man to welcome McGregor back to the famed Octagon when he returns this summer.
McGregor made a triumphant comeback to the UFC in January when he looked in fine form to destroy Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds.
He's hoping to fight three times this year following a period of inactivity so the UFC need to get the promotion-ball rolling and they need not to look any further than Diaz, who hasn't fought since his defeat to Jorge Masvidal last November and is waiting in the wings for something big and it doesn't get any bigger than a trilogy bout against McGregor.
A blockbuster third meeting between McGregor and Diaz is big business. It sells regardless of form and win streak. The two fighters are 1-1 in their two epic bouts and now is the time to settle the score once and for all.
McGregor wants it. Diaz wants it. The fans want it. Book it, Dana.
