Just days after he was pictured with the president of Bellator, rapper 50 Cent has been linked with an incredible debut in MMA against heavyweight Rampage Jackson.

50 cent, who's real name is Curtis Jackson, sent tongues wagging when he was seen in discussions with Scott Coker.

It looked like the 55-year-old was signing papers in the image, but it was later confirmed by Coker himself that he was explaining about the fighter-recruitment system and how Bellator build athletes and sign free agents.

"I'm busy working on something, that's gonna blow your mind." he wrote on Twitter.

Days later, Jackson's latest social media post might just confirm that he wants an unexpected career in the sport.

"Don't get it f-ed up. I'm the baddest Jacksonon around this m--f--er," he wrote. "Now if we can get the money right Rampage got a problem on his hands."

Is this a publicity stunt of does the US rapper really want to step into the cage?

This isn't the first time 50 cent has been involved in the world of MMA.

While on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, 50 Cent gave his thoughts on Conor McGregor's trash talking while responding to whether he could take on 'Notorious' in a fight.

"I was like, dude, this fool didn't know if he was fighting Floyd or me," the 42-year-old said via MMA Mania.

"I was like, 'Where did that come from?'- you know? But he was doing his job; he was putting on a show and making sure everybody was paying attention.

How would the rapper turn businessman fare against the 29-year-old UFC lightweight champion? Well, in a street fight, he likes his chances.

"In the street? Yeah! C'mon, he weighs 150 pounds, man," 50 Cent added.
