Masvidal's enjoying his most prolific run in the UFC. He resurrected his career with knockouts over Till and Ben Askren.
Diaz, on the other hand, returned to action after a three-year layoff by outpointing ex-UFC champion Anthony Pettis in August.
He called out Masvidal in the cage following his victory and the UFC have obliged to the delight of the MMA world.
Till has moved up in weight for his next bout as he tangles with former UFC middleweight title challenger Gastelum in a mouth-watering clash.
