Kamaru Usman Issues Brutal Response To Nate Diaz's Rant About UFC 251 Main Event

Nate Diaz has unleashed a huge rant on Kamaru Usman vs Gilbert Burns headlining UFC 251 - with Usman quickly responding.

It was confirmed on Tuesday that Usman will defend his welterweight title against Burns in the main event of UFC's first show on 'Fight Island' on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Diaz was quick to comment on the fight and he had very strong views on the men involved and the championship itself.

The 35-year-old said: "This is what's wrong with people claiming they're fighters settling for less cause they know they're not worth s**t you should've fought the next guy in line not the guy who would take less cause he's told too that's why no one will remember you guys.

"This isn't a title fight."

He then followed up with a tweet that read: "I get paid more than both of you put together + F**K REEBOK."

It didn't take long for Usman to respond, with the 'Nigerian Nightmare' issuing a scathing put down.

"Funny I didn't hear you volunteering when they were looking for the next victim," the 33-year-old began.

"Your Bum Ass, the other 'said guy' [Jorge Masvidal] who just embarrassed your ass, and McNuggets [Conor McGregor] Bum ass all ran and hid. So shut TF up and Sit TF down, oh and don't forget to buy the PPV."

Diaz's last fight came at UFC 244 when he was defeated by Masvidal in a clash that crowned the first BMF champion.

Usman did not stop there and went into detail on why Burns deserves a title shot.

What do you think of Diaz's comments and do you think Usman vs Burns is a prestigious title match?
