Rampage Jackson suffered a brutal KO loss to Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator Japan last night.

Fedor utterly dominated the proceedings early and went on to knockout Jackson inside the first round in Saitama.

It's the first time he's suffered a KO via punches in his two decade career.

The single shot managed to see the 41-year-old collapse to the floor in a heap and give Emelianenko his first win since 2018.

Twitter reacted to the knockout and think it should call time on Jackson's career.

He also sustained a nasty gash following the strike.

Many had commented on Jackson's weight during the fight and even the man himself admitted it was an issue.

Following the fight, he took to Instagram and posted a video in which he says he 'felt like a hippopotamus' in the octagon.

"I got to get my damn weight down," he said. "I felt like a hippopotamus out there. But that's my fault. No excuses. It's all right. I'll be back. But I ain't coming back at heavyweight. I've got to lose this weight."

Meanwhile, Emelianeko is is eyeing two more fights before hanging up his gloves.

The Russian told ESPN:

"For this day, particularly this day, [two more fights] is the plan.

"But we'll see."

Whatever weight you are, the shot Jackson was hit with is likely to see anyone tumble to the canvas.
