Rising MMA superstar Valerie Loureda has been branded "cringey" for her celebratory dance at Bellator 243.

Loureda scored a big win on Friday as she stopped Tara Graff at the end of round two to improve her professional MMA record to 3-0.

After stopping her opponent, she broke into a victory dance to celebrate her dominant win.

The 22-year-old celebrated in style with a sultry and energetic dance, but her actions inside the cage didn't sit well with some MMA fans who took to social media to express their thoughts.

One Twitter user wrote: "Big fan and follower but that dance at end was cringe."

A second tweeted: "I love it. I hate it. I dont know what to think."

A third added: "As a fellow Cuban, this was hella cringey."

The American Top Team fighter trains alongside UFC superstar Jorge Masvidal and she's credited him for guiding her career.

"I'm very confident I can be the next face to come out of Miami, the next female fighter. I don't know any female fighter that is Cuban, and I'm very confident I could be the next one," she explained.

"I know that I can get the same support the community has given Jorge. I have the same coaches as Jorge, the same training, and I'm following his steps in the sport.

"He's guiding me a lot. I'm very confident in my camp, in my team, my city behind me. And I'm going to win this fight for the Cubans here in Miami."

Will Loureda follow in the footsteps of Masvidal and become a huge MMA attraction? Let us know what you think.
