'Korean Superboy' Choi Doo-Ho fought on with a broken arm against Charles Jourdain at UFC Busan this weekend.

It was the 28-year-old's first fight in nearly two years and he fell to defeat, but that was only half the story.

Doo-Ho had actually fractured his forearm in the first round on Saturday night and still fought on.

Jourdain ended up winning via TKO in the second round but the fact Doo-Ho lasted that long is remarkable.

Choi has now lost his last three fights in UFC but after a near two year hiatus defeat isn't a shock.

Despite the defeat, 'Superboy' will receive $38,500 for taking part in 'Fight of the Night' to possibly soothe his horrific injury.

Jourdain joked about receiving the cash sum post fight and remarked:

"Uncle Dana, I would love that $50k bonus to move out of my parents' basement."

It was an unfortunate injury as Doo-ho dominated the early proceedings against his younger opponent.

The injury is likely to put him on the shelf for some time which isn't good news considering the infrequency of his fights over the last few years.

MMA is a brutal sport and the last few weeks have seem some grotesque injuries.

Colby Covington sustained a nasty broken jaw in his fifth round defeat to Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 two weeks ago.

Usman landed a devastating shot in the third round to crack Covington's jaw and the 31-year-old took to social media to show the damage.

Covington was transported to a nearby hospital following his UFC 245 defeat and the fighter has been slapped with a six-month medical suspension.
